Calculate the modulus related values for fabrics at the fiber content of your choice. Note that the stiffness will go up as the fiber content goes up. Simply enter the Fiber Content (W%) OR the Fiber Volume (V%), the other is automatically calculated for you (when you click out of the box). Calculations based on polyester resin, Interplastics COR75-AQ-010. "E0" is the modulus in the Warp (0) direction, "E90" is the modulus in the Fill (90) direction, "G12" is the in-plane shear modulus, and "NU12" is the Major Poisson ratio in-plane. Units are "msi" (mega pounds per square inch) for English and "GPa" (giga newtons per square meter) for metric, for E0, E90, and G12; NU12 is unitless. Convert back and forth using the units buttons. Sort any column of your choice by clicking the column headings (click same heading again to reverse sort order).
