Twintex Availability?

John:
Whats the deal on Glass Polypro and Twintex? Have you started production yet and if so in what forms are you making the product available? Also, what is the lag time between order and shipment?

Ok so heres the deal. I bought 18 truckloads of Twintex machinery(including the pellet line) from the St Gobain/Certainteed plant in Wichita Falls, Texas. This is all their machinery-enough to produce 30 million lbs if we ever need it. Hired Ken Weiss as a full time engineer (he spent 11 years on this product at Wichita Falls). Ken has done a great job installing 2 bushings of Twintex-about 5 million lbs. We are running. The packages look good going into the new dryer and we have 2 looms operating making wide width 22oz and 44 oz neutral color. We also have a narrow 60-80″ wide loom for the ocasional order for black color. We will be adding 2 more looms on neutral in the next month.
Need about a four week lead time on woven fabrics but truckloads of 60% neutral strand are immediately available.
    Life is good!
