GLASS PET - manufactured using *TWINTEX® technology under license from Owens Corning, is not available YET at FGI

With impact behavior equivalent to that of GLASS POLYPRO, GLASS PET exceeds values of stiffness, fatigue and temperature resistance. These values are comparable to levels of performance found in long fiber glass / polyamide thermoplastics, epoxy, vinylester prepregs, SMC, aluminum or steel. GLASS PET has the major advantage of recyclability. GLASS PET will eventually be available in rovings, fabrics, plates and pellets, all products that are easily processable in the composite industry.
