Texturized Roving - Texstrand®

These rovings are texturized into single end entangled or bulked rovings. Texturized roving is utilized to improve the shear strength of pultruded profiles, decrease resin richness and edge cracking in thin pultruded components and as a replacement for continuous strand mat in small and tubular profiles. Our texturized rovings are most often used in the production of window profiles, which typically have many thin cross sections. This product is comprised of FGI's Flexstrand rovings, which have been air jet entangled or bulked to form a larger strand. Sizing is compatible with Polyester, Vinyl Ester, Epoxy, and Polyurethane.

Texturized rovings are shrink wrapped with center draw averaging 20-25# per package with 48 packages per pallet. They are also available on a 3 inch cardboard tube. Product designation will carry a "C", i.e. Texstrand 135C.
